Stay connected

It is important that you stay connected with your youth while they are in our facility — please make every effort to have positive and encouraging visits and calls as often as you are able.

Visiting hours

• Monday & Thursday: 3–5pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 3–5pm

All visits must be scheduled in advance.

Only legal guardians are allowed to visit.

In person visits: During your first visit you will be given 30 minutes for a face-to-face visit; thereafter, in person visits are limited to 15 minutes. This limit is to ensure all youth are able to have visits.

Nightly phone calls

Youth are encouraged to call their legal guardians for a 15 minute phone call each evening. The detention care team will place the call and you will see an incoming number of 417-829-6673. This number cannot be called back. Please do not block this number. If you miss the call you can call back at 417-829-6133.

Calls should not be on speaker or conferenced with other people. If this occurs phone calls will be discontinued by the detention team and future calls may be limited or stopped.

Please note: All visits and phone calls may be both video and audio recorded by the detention facility unless an attorney is present.
