The Greene County Juvenile Office serves the youth and families of Greene County, Missouri. As a division of the 31st Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Court System, the office carries out the work of the Juvenile Court under the direction of the Judge of the Juvenile Court.
Our staff work with children, families, victims, schools, and community partners across two broad areas: matters involving young people who are alleged to have committed offenses, and matters involving the abuse or neglect of children. In every case, our goal is the same — to promote the safety of the community and the well-being, accountability, and healthy development of the young people we serve.
How we can help
- Intake — the first point of contact when a case is referred to the Juvenile Office.
- Law and status offenses — diversion, supervision, probation, and detention services.
- Detention Center: short-term, secure care for youth and how families stay connected.
- Abuse and neglect — case management and treatment focused on child safety and permanency.
- Clinical services and domestic relations support for families.
- Forms, news, and events for the public.
To report suspected child abuse or neglect, call the Missouri Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline: 1-800-392-3738 (available 24 hours a day). In an emergency, call 911.
